Support Us
Here are all the ways you can help support our mission to end hunger and homelessness today.
Food Rescue Partnerships
The Hoboken Shelter partners with local restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, caterers, and production teams to safely recover surplus food and redirect it to our Guests.
Our kitchen serves 500 meals every day, and rescued food is often used the same day it arrives.
Together, we can reduce waste, lower disposal costs, and ensure quality food reaches neighbors who need it most.
Food Rescue Drop-Off Guidelines
You may drop off rescued food daily, Monday through Sunday, from 9 am to 9 pm at 300 Bloomfield Street in Hoboken. No appointment is necessary.
To ensure food safety for our Guests, we ask that donated food be properly stored and transported in food-safe containers, labeled with the date and contents, and maintained at safe temperatures prior to drop-off. Hot foods should be kept hot, cold foods kept cold, and items should not have been previously served to the public.
We are unable to accept food that is spoiled/moldy, has been opened, partially consumed, or held outside recommended temperature ranges.
